Printer Setup

If you do not have the ENGLISH PRINTER listed under the available printers the following could be the reason:

  • You are not logged into the CapertonCenter Domain - You must use the Caperton Center Email account to access the domain and its resources. EXAMPLE: jane.doe@capertoncenter.nex If you do not have an account; ask Mrs. Wilson to arrange for one.
  • The Printer on the laptop cart is not turned on.
  • Your account has lost connection.

You re-add the printer by following these steps.

  1. Using the GEAR icon next to the SIGN OUT and POWER icon in the bottom right corner.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click the ADVANCED link and continue scrolling down to the PRINTING Section.
  3. Click on Printers and ADD PRINTER
  4. Under Name type ENGLISH PRINTER
  5. Under address type 10.10.1.104:631
  6. Leave the Protocol set to Internet Printing Protocol (IPP)
  7. Click ADD
  8. You should now find and be able to select the ENGLISH PRINTER under any printing/ printer in any program.
